The Toronto Consort appoints a new Managing Director

The Toronto Consort appoints a new Managing Director, President Ann Posen, is happy to announce the appointment of Michelle Knight as The Toronto Consort’s new Managing Director, effective August 1, 2016. Michelle is currently The Consort’s Marketing Director and successfully lead the marketing sales initiatives that resulted in a 12% increase in ticket sales for the 2015-16 season.

Before joining The Toronto Consort, Michelle has worked with The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Living Arts Centre, Hummingbird Centre/O’Keefe Centre, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Theatre Passe Muraille, Orchestras Canada, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Canadian National Exhibition, Famous Player, Cineplex, Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, 3M, Warner Home Video.

In her new role, Michelle will develop and manage programs that will continue the Toronto Consort’s strong track record of increasing ticket sales, developing and expanding relationships with many of our community partners, increasing donations, developing new educational programming and opportunities, and maintaining a healthy financial position.
